Covid-19 Level 2 at KTS

We were delighted to have 87% of our students back at school this last week.  We anticipate more will be back tomorrow as we maintain 0 cases  (with the exception of 1 linked to St Margaret Rest Home) throughout the country.

The Ministry of Education is collecting our attendance data on a weekly basis from this week.  It was daily.  For your information the coding is as follows:

  • Students attending school are marked as P (present)
  • Students who are medically not well are marked as M (medical)
  • Students who have a valid reason for not attending are marked as F (learning off site and are supported in their distance learning)
  • Students who are not attending due to concerns around Covid-19  are marked as E (explained  - this is still classified as an unjustified absence but we know why students are not at school).

If you are returning to school tomorrow, please ensure you have read the information linked here so you know what is expected at KTS under Level 2 health and safety guidelines. MUST READ - Level 2 at KTS .

Keep safe everyone, and look after one another
