And so we come to the end of term 3. It certainly has been a busy one. Congratulations to all our talent quest finalists and in particular those who won. Each final was so competitive - what talented students we have.
This week is the 50th anniversary of Māori Language Week. We have lots of activities planned to highlight this important part of New Zealand culture.
Mon 15th - Fri 19th Sept - Māori Language Week
Mon 15th Sept - Yr 7 & 8 boys basketball zones
Wed 17th Sept - Yr 7 & 8 girls basketball zones
Fri 19th Sept - 12.40 - 1.30 Y0 - 6 Disco (red, black and white theme). Entry: for each student to use a Māori phrase
Fri 19th Sept - 3.00pm end-of-term ice cream sale
Mon 6th Oct - Start of term 4
Thurs 16th Oct - Choir Festival at Holy Trinity
Fri 24th Oct - MOE-allocated curriculum development day for staff (school closed)
Mon 27th Oct - Labour Day - school closed
The Board has determined that places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students in the following year levels:
Priority 2–6
Priority 2–5 only
For further details please click here. Parents of students who live within the home zone should also enrol by this date to assist the school to plan appropriately for next year.
